Architecting Systems for an AI-Native Future

From an architecture and technology perspective, the next five years will look very different from the past twenty years. Machine learning and deep learning are now an established part of the mix of technologies we must consider. Their scope and impact are increasing rapidly. Now is the time to embrace AI-Native software and systems.

In this keynote, we will:

  1. Introduce some key concepts in machine learning and deep learning that will serve as a foundation for our exploration.
  2. Examine technology trends in machine learning and deep learning that present new opportunities.
  3. Explore examples of architecture patterns, principles, and practices that help us design systems that take advantage of these opportunities.
  4. Discuss the implications for (i) us as architects in this rapidly evolving and exciting landscape, (ii) the architectures we are responsible for, and (iii) the process of architecting through which we create these systems.
